LADY CHARGERS FALL TO GOLDEN FALCONS
Rutherford, N.J. (10/1/25) The Domnican University New York women's volleyball team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to the Golden Falcons of Felician University, 3-2, this evening in a match played at Joal & Joseph Job Gymnasium.
The Lady Chargers won the first and third sets by the scores of 26-24 and 26-24. The Golden Falcons took the second and fourth sets 25-15 and 25-18 to force the deciding fifth set. Felician jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the fifth, but DUNY battled back to cut the deficit to 13-11. Consecutive kills from Sandra Galas gave Felician the 15-11 win and the 3-2 match victory.
With the loss, Dominican now stands at 4-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Senior Savannah Tody led the Lady Chargers with a career high 14 kills, a .419 attack percentage and six digs in the loss.
Trinity Parkin added 11 kills and 14 digs, while freshman Haile Comeau had a career high 27 digs.
Setter Kaeden Sanstead had 34 assists, nine digs and seven kills.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Wilmington University at 12pm on Coach Baxter Court.
