Philadelphia, Pa. (10/18/25) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host, Holy Family University, 3-1, this afternoon in conference action at the Campus Center.
With the loss, the Lady Chargers fall to 5-11 overall and 2-5 in the CACC.
The Tigers won the first two sets by the scores of 25-19 and 25-23 for the early 2-0 lead, but the Lady Chargers took the third set, 25-22. A 25-21 fourth set victory by HFU game the the 3-1 win.
Dominican recorded double-digit kills in three of the four sets played in the loss.
Senior Elizabeth Perez led the way with a season high 15 kills and seven digs.
Alexandria De Iasi added 13 kills and five digs, while Savannah Tody contributed 12 kills and four block assists.
Setter Kaeden Sanstead tallied 40 assists and 13 digs, with libero Haile Comeau recording a team best 14 digs.
The Lady Chargers return to action on Tuesday night when they travel to the University of Bridgeport.
