CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES THIRD AT GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE FALL CLASSIC
Wilmington, DE (10/9/10) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished third out of eight teams at the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic held this morning.
Wilmington, DE (10/9/10) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished third out of eight teams at the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic held this morning.
The University of the Sciences took the team title with a score of 46, followed by Wilmington University (58), Dominican College (59), Eastern (81), Bloomfield College (145), CCBC (152), Goldey-Beacom College (156) and Lancaster Bible (212).
Sophomore Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers and took third place overall with a time of 20:29.
Freshman Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) took sixth place overall with a time of 21:39 and junior Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in seventh place with a time of 22:00.
Rookie Amanda Castro (New Rochelle, NY) ran a time of 23:52 to finish in 20th place, while Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY) finished in 23rd place with a time of 24:08.
Dominican is back in action on Sunday, October 17th when they compete at the St. John's University Fall Festival.
