Men’s Soccer- The Chargers extended their winning streak to three games, with a 3-0 victory over Bloomfield College in their only action of the week. Goals were scored by Scott Silvia, Pablo Pozo, and Ryan Clancy. Kyle Clancy and Ryan Clancy both had assists. Their record now stands at 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the CACC. Dominican will face off with Molly College on 9/13 and host CACC member Felician College on 9/15. The team will wrap up their week with a CACC home game against Wilmington College on 9/18 at 2pm.

Women’s Soccer- The Lady Chargers had a great week, going 2-0 in conference play. On 9/7, the team got a tough overtime victory over CACC rival, Nyack College. Freshman Katrina VanAlstyne netted the game winner at 97:31. On 9/10, Dominican handed Bloomfield College a 3-2 defeat, behind goals scored by Jen Ditzig, Angela Correia and another game winning goal by VanAlstyne. Correia had the assist in the Nyack game, while Nicole Tatulli and Shannon Harding picked up assists in the win against Bloomfield. The victory brings the Lady Chargers record to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the CACC. The Lady Chargers will face CACC foe, Felician College, on the road at 7pm on 9/14. They will host Wilmington College on 9/18 at Noon, as part of a doubleheader with the men’s team.

Women’s Volleyball- The women’s volleyball team had tough start to the 2005 season, losing three straight games to Fairleigh-Dickinson University-Madison on 9/6. The Lady Chargers began CACC play on 9/10, hosting a tri-match with Post University and Goldey-Beacom College. Dominican lost three straight to Goldey-Beacom and Post University. The match against Post was a well fought battle with the final two games being decided by two points, 29-31 and 31-33, respectively. Freshman Kinika Collier had a great week, with 33 kills. Senior setter Megan Earl had 72 assists. The only action of the week for the Lady Chargers will be a CACC tri-match on 9/18 at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Dominican will play the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Lady Chargers not stand at 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the CACC.
