Mens Soccer-The Chargers extended their winning streak to thirteen games after posting a 2-0 record this week. They now stand at 14-1 overall and 7-0 in the CACC. On 10/18, Dominican CACC rival, Nyack College, a 4-0 loss. Goals were scored Kyle Clancy (3) and Jhonny Arteaga. Assists were given to Brent Gaylord and Ryan Clancy. On 10/22, the Chargers hosted the University of the District of Columbia and came away with a 2-0 victory. Scott Silvia and Kyle Clancy each had a goal, while assists were given to Artega, Gaylord and Diego Miranda. This week, DC goes to LeMoyne College on 10/24 for a make up game from earlier in the year and will travel to Goldey Beacom College on 10/26 to wrap up CACC play. The Chargers are currently ranked 8th in the nation and first in their region.

Womens Soccer- The Lady Chargers post a 0-1-1 record this week. The team now stands at 5-9-2 overall and 4-4-2 in the CACC. On 10/17, DC traveled to Goldey Beacom College in a make up game and suffered a tough, 0-1 loss. Freshman keeper Allison Comentino had 12 saves. Dominican hosted Caldwell College on 10/19 for Senior Day and played to a 1-1 tie after two overtimes. Marie LaMaida netted the lone Charger goal off the double assist by Angela Correia and Pamela Mertens. This week the Lady Chargers will travel to Georgian Court University on 10/24 and will host Pace University on 10/27 to wrap up the regular season.

Womens Volleyball-The womens volleyball team had a rough week after going 0-3. The Lady Chargers now stand at 6-16 overall and 5-13 in the CACC. On 10/18, Dominican traveled to Post University and suffered a heart breaking, 2-3 loss. Kinikia Collier and Jessica Zanotti had 10 kills a piece, while setter Megan Earl had 36 assists. On 10/22, the Lady Chargers hosted a tri-match with Philadelphia University and Bloomfield College. DC lost 0-3 to PU with Tara Leahy leading the team with seven kills and Earl had 24 assists. Against Bloomfield, the team lost another tough one, 2-3. Collier led the team with 17 kills, while Zanotti added 13 kills and Earl had 47 assists. This week the Lady Chargers host Nyack College on 10/25 for Senior Night at 7pm.

Golf-The Golf team hosted a tri-match with Pace University and the College of St. Rose. DC game in 2nd place behind Pace with a team score of 317. Justin Jacarusso shot a 78 and Brian Mackey shot a 79.

Cross Country-The mens and womens cross country team competed in the CACC Championship this weekend at USP. The mens team finished in 8th place, while the women finished in 10th place.
