Dominican College Athletics

Dominican College sponsors 12 intercollegiate sports, which compete for championships at the NCAA Division II level. Dominican is also a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) a conference comprised of 12 schools from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware and Pennsylvania and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).

Dominican athletes have taken to the field for 30 years, competing for local, regional and national recognition. Dominican College’s varsity teams have won numerous conference and tournament championships, as well as two ECAC Championships. The athletic program is recognized as one of the finest in the metropolitan area, among small colleges.

The 25,000 square-foot Hennessy Center is home to the men's and women's basketball teams, and the women’s volleyball team. An exercise facility, available to members of the College community, can also be found at the Hennessy Center along with a fitness center, suspended track, locker rooms, the athletic department offices and multi-purpose space. The Hennessy Center gymnasium has seating for 1000 spectators.

The intramural program at Dominican College offers all students an opportunity to compete in a structured and competitive setting. Participation is available in basketball, indoor soccer, softball, volleyball, and wiffleball.

Interested in competing for Dominican College? Contact the coach by phone or e-mail, call the Athletic Department or tell the Office of Admissions.
