Samantha James began working at Dominican College in August of 2004 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer in August of 2007. Prior to coming to Dominican College, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Iona College for three years.
She began her Athletic Training Career at Stony Brook University where she started a student internship program. After graduating from SUNY Stony Brook in May 1997, she decided to complete the internship program by pursuing her Masters degree in Athletic Training at Long Island University and finishing her clinical hours at Pace University. After graduating from LIU in September of 1999, she began working at Healthsouth Sports Physical Therapy Clinic as a rehabilitation technician and Athletic Trainer for the local High Schools.
Samantha currently resides in Yonkers, NY, with
her husband, Mark. They are expecting their first child this
summer.
