Burke was named the Associate Athletic Director at Dominican in 2006 after previously being an Assistant Ahtletic Director. He also serves as the department's Compliance Officer and the adviser for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Burke, a 1994 graduate of Dominican, enters his seventh year as the team's head coach. Burke was an associate head coach with the program for two years and also served as Steve Baxter's assistant coach for three years, prior to taking over before the 2001-02 season. In his six years he guided the program to a 99-74 record, three semifinal appearances in the CACC Tournament and one ECAC Championship.
In addition to coaching experience at Dominican, Burke coached the A.A.U. Bronx Lady Hawks and also coached at St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School in the Bronx. He has also been honored by Rockland Business World as one of Rockland's 40 Under 40.
Coach Burke and his wife, Tara, currently
reside in Nyack, NY.
