Coach Campbell enters his fourth year as head coach of the men's soccer program. Prior to coming to DC, Campbell spent a year as the assistant men's coach at Division I, Bucknell University and also spent a year as an assistant coach at Bloomsburg University. In addition, Campbell spent three years as the assistant women's coach at Binghamton University.
In his first season he guided the team to their first every NCAA Tournament, was ranked first in their region and finished the season with an 18-2 record and was ranked 11th in the NCAA Division II rankings. He was also named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and the New England Regional Coach of the Year.
In his second year at the helm, the team posted a 12-4-3 overall record and an 8-0 record in the CACC. He guided the team to their third consecutive CACC Regular Season and Tournament Titles and was ranked 25th in the NCAA Division II final poll. Coach Campbell also led the team to their second consecutive NCAA Regional Appearance.
Coach Campbell began his collegiate career at Green Mountain College, where he led the team in assists and was second in goals scored. He also set a school record for the goals scored in a game and led the team to the conference final. After his freshman year, he transferred to Roberts Wesleyan College, where he led the team in goals and total scoring and was named Northeast Region Offensive Player of the week three times. He was part of a Raider team who won back-to-back American Mideast Conference (AMC) and Regional Championships in 1998 and 1999, and two National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Tournament Appearances.
After college, Coach Campbell spent a year with the Vermont Voltage of the Professional Development League (PDL) and helped lead the team to the conference semi-finals. He is currently the owner and director of NICETOUCH Soccer Camp.
Aside from coaching soccer, Campbell was named an Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance and Sports Information in July of 2008 He is also the director of summer camps and responsible for game event managment.
