Dominican Chargers Defeat C.W. Post, 12-4

Blauvelt, NY (3/16/06) The Dominican College baseball team defeated C.W. Post this afternoon, 12-4 in a non-conference game at C.W. Post.

The Chargers held a 6-0 lead, going into the top of the sixth inning when they exploded for another six runs to take a 12-0 lead. C.W. Post rallied to score four runs in the final three innings for the final 12-4 score.

Senior Chad Duesler (Northville, NY) went 2-5 with a double and 4 RBIs in the win. Centerfielder Eliezer Nunez (Brooklyn, NY) went 2-3 with an RBI and 4 runs scored. Keith Gebert (Brooklyn, NY) went 2-3 with 3 RBIs and two runs scored.

Pitcher Tommy Mejia (Brooklyn, NY) got the complete game win to improve to 3-0 on the year.

The Chargers are back in action on Saturday, March 18th when they travel to West Chester University.
