West Chester, PA (3/18/06)  West Chester University extended its winning streak to five straight games with a sweep of Domincan (NY) College on Saturday afternoon at Serpico Stadium.

In the second game, Mark Gilliford doubled, walked twice and drove in three runs, while Sean Bond and Joey Yeager each went 2 for 4 with a run scored. John Molyneux was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run as well, while Brett Wallace doubled and scored.

Chris Powl picked up his first victory with the Golden Rams, tossing five solid innings. He scattered five hits and struck out six while walking just one batter.

Left fielder Mike Zani (Goshen, NY) went 3-4 in the loss.  Senior captain Eliezer Nunez (Brooklyn, NY) added two hits.

Armando Taveraz (Bronx, NY) got the loss, allowing ten hits and six runs in three innings.
