Dominican Finishes Eighth in Goldey-Beacom College Invitational

Wilmington, DE (3/20/06) The Dominican College men's golf team opened up the spring season with an eighth place finish at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational held yesterday and today.

Wilmington, DE (3/20/06) The Dominican College men's golf team opened up the spring season with an eighth place finish at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational held yesterday and today.

Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) shot an 83 in the first round and a team leading 78 in the second for a combined score of 161.  A.J. Lee (Nanuet, NY) shot a 93 in the first round and a 84 in the second for a combined score of 177.

The team finished with an combined score of 666 to finish in eighth place out of thirteen teams.

The team will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Ocean City, Maryland to take part in the St. Thomas Aquians Spring Invitational.
