GOLDEY-BEACOM AND POST SIT ATOP STANDINGS AT NCAA GOLF REGIONAL

WHEELING, WV (May 1, 2006) - Goldey-Beacom College and Post University stand first and second after one round of play at the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Golf Tournament in Wheeling, WV. The Lightning lead with a team score of 316 (+32), while the Eagles are next with a team 323 (+39). Dominican College finished the first day of competition in seventh place (338, +54).

Goldey-Beacom's Michael Tobiason is currently tied for second place after firing a 77 (+6) at Speidel Country Club today. The Lightning have three more golfers in the top 10, as Steve Cutler is tied for seventh (79) and Justin Grossman and Mark Agnew are tied for 10th with after both carding an 80.

Post, which won the CACC Championship on April 11, is being paced by Calum Malcom's 78, which puts him in a tie for fourth place.
