Chargers Golf Finishes Fifth At Goldey-Beacom College Invitational

Blauvelt, NY (3/28/07) The Dominican College golf team finished fifth out of 19 teams this past weekend at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational held at Hartefeld National Golf Course.

Blauvelt, NY (3/28/07)  The Dominican College golf team finished fifth out of 19 teams this past weekend at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational held at Hartefeld National Golf Course.

Out of the eight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) teams at the tournament, the Chargers had the highest finish of the teams.  The team shot a 318 on day one and shot a 308 on day two for a combined total of 626.

Junior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) finished in a tie for ninth place with a two day total of 153 (77, 76; +9).  A. J. Lee (Nanuet, NY) finished in a tie for 17th place, shooting a 155 (80. 75: +11).

The Chargers are back in action this weekend when they play in the Dowling College Invitational at Long Island National Golf Course.
