JACARUSO WINS 60TH METROPLITAN GOLF ASSOCIATION PUBLIC LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP
Brian Mackey Finishes Tied for Fourth
Justin Jacaruso (Suffern, NY), a 2007 graduate of
Domincan College, won the one day 36 hole championship conducted at
Neshanic Valley Golf Courst in New Jersey on July 6, 2007.
Jacaruso shot rounds of 71 and 72 for a total of 143 (-1). With the victory, he gains exemption from the Public Links Tournament for the next five years and gains entry into this year's MGA Amateur Tournament and next year's IKE Tournament.
Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY), who will return
to DC for his senior season, finished tied for fourth with rounds
of 75 and 73 for a total of 148. He gains exemption to next
year's MGA Public Links Tournament by virtue of his top 5 finish.
