DOMINICAN GOLF TIES FOR SIXTH PLACE AT AMERICAN
INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE INVITATIONAL
West Springfield, MA (4/22/08) The Dominican
College golf team finished in a two-way tie for sixth place at the
American International College Invitational held at the Springfield
Country Club this afternoon.
The Chargers shot rounds of 322 and 313 for a 635 total score to tie them with host American International College for sixth place. Post University won the team title with a 604 total score, followed by Adelphia University (608), Pace University (623), UMASS-Lowell (628) and St. Thomas Aquinas College (631).
Senior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) finished in fourth place overall shooting rounds of 75 and 74 for a two day total of 149. Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) tied for 19th place with a total score of 156 (79, 77).
Junior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) tied for 38th place
with a score of 164 (85, 79). Freshman Thomas Lalonde
(Red Hook, NY) tied for 44th place with rounds of 83 and
83 for a total 166.
