MACKEY SHOOTS A 71 ON DAY THREE OF NCAA
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Houston, TX (5/16/08) Dominican College golfer, Brian Mackey, shot a 71 (+1) on the third day of the NCAA Division II Men's Championships being held at the Memorial Park Golf Course.
A senior from Chestnut Ridge, NY, was able to birdie the first and
tenth holes to be two under at one point, but bogeyes on holes two,
three and nine caused him to finish the day one over.
With today's round of 71, Mackey has a three day total of 214 (+4) to put him in a four way tie for 26th place which is seven spot improvement from yesterday.
Mackey returns to the course tomorrow in the
final round of the NCAA Championships.
