CHARGERS GOLF WIN CHARGER CHALLENGE

The Dominican College golf team shot a team score of 614 to win the
two day Charger Challenge held at Spook Rock Golf Course in
Suffern, NY which began yesterday and concluded this afternoon.
The Chargers shot a 302 on the first day behind a 72 round from AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) and shot a 312 on day two for the 614 finish. Pace University took second place with a 617, followed by Post University with a 618, Dowling College with a 621 and St. Thomas Aquinas College with a 625 to round out the top five.
Adelphi University finished in sixth place with a 627 total, Goldey-Beacom College took seventh place with a 631, while Wilmington University took eighth place with a 632 score. Caldwell College finished in ninth place with a 693 score, Felician College took tenth place with a 726, while Philadelphia University ended in eleventh place with a 744 total score.
Senior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) finished in a three way tie for first place in the individual competition with a two day score of 150 (76, 74). Sophomore Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) shot a 151 (75, 76), while Lee finished with a 154 score (72, 82).
Freshman Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) shot a
159 (79, 80) and Michael Ciaravino (Islip Terrace,
NY) rounded out the Charger scoring with a 165 total (83,
82).
