DOMINICAN GOLF FINISHES FOURTH AT WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY FALL CLASSIC

Middletown, DE (10/1/08) The Dominican College golf team finished fourth at the Wilmington University Fall Classic which was held at the Back Creek Golf Course at the Saint Anne's Club.
As a team, DC shot a first day total of 308 and a day two total of 298 for a combined score of 606 to finish behind St. Thomas Aquinas College (583), Goldey-Beacom College (593) and host Wilmington University (604).
Sophomore Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) was the top finisher for the Chargers with a score of 146 (75, 71) to finish in fifth place. Senior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) finished in ninth place with rounds of 74 and 75 for a total 149 score.
Junior Brian Kivelhan (Mahwah, NJ) rounded out the top twenty in individual scores for the Chargers with a 15th place finish after shooting rounds of 78 and 74 (152 total score). Freshman Braedan May (Port Perry, Ontario) had a two day total of 162 (84, 78) for a 23rd place finish and fellow rookie Corey Fitzgerald (Sherburne, NY) finished in a three way tie for 24th place with a total score of 163 (81, 82).
Dominican is back on the course this weekend at the Post University Tournament being held at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course.
