Goldey-Beacom Lightning Turn Back Dominican Chargers, 58-45

Wilmington, DE (1/17/06) The Goldey-Beacom College Lightning men's basketball team defeated the Dominican College Chargers men's basketball team, 58-45 this evening.

Nate Lewis led all scorers with 19 points, including two 3-pointers. Derek Savage added 13 points and DJ Stanberry finished with 12 points.

Tahiem Stewart (Harlem, NY) and Chaz Holloway (Caldwell, NJ) led the team with eight points each, while Stewart added a team leading five rebounds and two assists.

With the win, Goldey-Beacom improves to 9-4 overall and 5-4 in the CACC, while Dominican falls to 3-10 overall and 2-6 in the CACC.

Dominican is back in action on Thursday, January 19th when they host Bloomfield College at 8pm in the Hennessy Center.
