Dominican College Chargers Pull Out A Big Win Over Felician College, 80-74
Rutherford, NJ (2/18/06) The Dominican College men's basketball team won a big road game against the Felician College Golden Falcons, 80-74 this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Chargers had two players finish in double figures, led by junior Prince Jackson (Schenectady, NY) who netted a game leading 29 points. Senior Tahiem Stewart (Harlem, NY) added 25 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Freshman Will Carty (Bronx, NY) contributed eight points in the win.
The Golden Falcons had four players in double figures, led by Sydir Mitchell with 16 points. Michael Pierrot added 12 points and nine rebounds in the loss. Thomas Johnson scored 11 points, while Sadot Williams chipped in 10 points, respectively.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 10-15 overall and 9-11 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons fall to 12-13 overall and 10-10 in the CACC.
Dominican is back in action on Tuesday, February 21st when the host Goldey Beacom College at the Hennessy Center. Game time is 8pm.
