Stewart Named Men's Basketball Player of the Week

New Haven, CT - Tahiem Stewart of Dominican College has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period of December 26 to January 2. Shane Connor of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia has been named CACC Rookie of the Week.

Stewart, a senior forward from Harlem, NY, poured in a season-high 30 points in an overtime loss to Molloy on Friday. He also contributed eight rebounds and three steals in the contest. Furthermore, he shot 12-of-17 (.706) from the floor.

Connor, a freshman forward from Canadensis, PA, tallied a season-high 11 points and five rebounds in a victory over Chestnut Hill on Thursday. He shot 3-for-6 from the field and 4-for-5 from the foul line and added one block and one steal.
