Dominican’s Jackson Named To All-ECAC Team
Blauvelt, NY (4/17/07) Dominican College men’s basketball player, Prince Jackson, has been named to the All-ECAC Second Team in a vote by Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II head coaches.
Jackson, a
senior forward from Schenectady, NY, was a first team All-CACC and
All-Met selection this season after leading the Chargers with an
average of 17.6 ppg. He was second on the team in rebounding with
164 (5.9 per game). Furthermore, he was ranked sixth in the CACC in
scoring, 12th in free throw percentage, third in 3-point field goal
percentage and 12th in 3-point field goals made.
The
ECAC's membership includes 320 colleges in NCAA Divisions I, II,
and II from Maine to Georgia and Westerly to Illinois. There are 45
basketball-playing Division II schools as members.
