# 3 MEN'S BASKETBALL FALL TO # 2 FELICIAN COLLEGE IN CACC QUARTER-FINAL GAME
Lodi, NJ (3/1/10) The third seeded Dominican College men's basketball team fell to the second seeded Golden Falcons of Felician College, 69-58, this evening in Central Altantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarter-Final action held at Job Gymnasium.
Lodi, NJ (3/1/10) The third seeded Dominican College men's basketball team fell to the second seeded Golden Falcons of Felician College, 69-58, this evening in Central Altantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarter-Final action held at Job Gymnasium.
Dominican took an early 5-2 lead on a trey from the CACC Rookie of the Year, Leon Porter (Laurel, MD) with 17:17 left in the first half. FC answered back with 11 consecutive points to turn the tables and take a 13-5 advantage with just over ten minutes to go. DC was able to cut the lead to three twice, the last being with 4:44 to go before the break (22-19), but the Golden Falcons out scored the Chargers 7-4 to head into the intermission with a 29-23 lead.
Felician extended their lead to 11 points early in the second half, but the Chargers charged back with a 11-2 run to cut the deficit to 40-38 with 12:00 left in regulation. An 8-4 FC run rebuilt a 48-42 lead as they went on to the 69-58 victory.
Porter led the Chargers with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists. Junior Almin Hodzic (Budd Lake, NJ) tallied nine points and seven caroms, while Gerald Hill (Gwynn Oak, MD) netted eight points off the bench. Senior forward Brendan McManus (Pearl River, NY) recorded seven points and seven rebounds in the loss.
With the loss Dominican finishes the season with an overall record of 14-16.
