Blauvelt, NY (4/13/06)  The Dominican College men's lacrosse team defeated the men's lacrosse team from Green Mountain College, 19-3 this afternoon.

The Chargers took control of the game early, scoring six goals in the first quarter and adding another five in the second to take a 11-1 lead at halftime.

DC added another five goals in the third and tallied three more in the fourth en route to the 19-3 victory.

Freshman Jeremy Arcaro (New Windsor, NY) led the Chargers with six goals and two assists in the win.  Owen Smith III (Upper Saddle River, NJ) netted four goals and had a game leading five assists.  Kyle Miller (Copaigue, NY) scored three goals and two assists.

Paul Ocana (Newburgh, NY) and Remo Montalbano (Saugerties, NY) each netted two goals, while Montalbano added an assist.  Joe Cobis had one goal and two assists, while senior Mark Lieval (Bardonia, NY) scored a goal.  Freshman Ben Bradley (Garnerville, NY) contributed a save in the win for the Chargers.

Goalie Joe Assante (Weston, NY) picked up the win, while Mike Delillo (Yorktown Heights, NY) and Ryan Strong (Huntington Station, NY) each spent time in the net as Strong had five saves in 30 minutes of action.
