MEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS BRIARCLIFFE COLLEGE
Bethpage, NY (3/12/08) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team improved to 1-1 after defeating host Briarcliffe College, 11-6 this afternoon.
Sophomore Alex Jones (St. Albert, AB) led the team with three goals and an assist. Pat O'Shea (Dix Hills, NY) added two goals and and assist.
Owen Smith III (Cornwall, NY), Dave Marrese (Winnipeg, MB) and Dan Celebre (Lake Grove, NY) all had a goal in the win.
Goalie Joe Assante (Hicksville, NY) had nine saves in the game.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 1-1 overall.
