Dominican Triumphs Over St. Thomas Aquinas College, 2-0

Blauvelt, NY (9/22/05) Dominican College improved their record to 9-1 after easily turning back St. Thomas Aquinas College, 2-0 this afternoon in a game held at Dominican College.

Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, Ryan Clancy (Walden, NY), netted the game’s first goal off the double assist by goal keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) and big brother Kyle Clancy (Walden, NY) at the 5:30 mark.

Sophomore Diego Miranda (Quito, Ecuador) knotched a goal at 38:01 mark off another double assist by Joe Ruesgan (Scotland) and Kyle Clancy.

Dominican dominated possession of the game, while each team took ten shots a piece.

Spartan starting goal keeper Sean McEnery (Sloatsburg, NY) had three saves and William Diano (Katonah, NY) had one save.

Kelly had two saves for the Chargers.

The Chargers are back in action on Thursday, September 29 as they travel to Holy Family University.
