Dominican Tops Caldwell 3-1

Blauvelt, NY (10/15/05) In a battle of two undefeated teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), Dominican topped Caldwell, 3-1 to improve their record to 12-1 and 6-0 in the CACC.

Caldwell jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as junior forward Uke Dauti (West Orange, NJ) scored a goal off the assist by Jorge Ibarcena (Lima, Peru) at 17:54. Dominican would tie the game a 1-1 before the end of the first half as Jhonny Arteaga (Cali, Colombia) netted his first of two goals off the corner kick assist by Ryan Clancy (Walden, NY).

Clancy would net a goal at 65:34 off the double assist by Tom Rolston (New City, NY) and Scott Silvia (Dighton, MA) to put the Chargers up 2-1. Arteaga would end the scoring run with his second goal off a double assist by Joe Ruesgan (Scotland) and Pablo Pozo

(Riobamba, Ecuador) for the final 3-1.

The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday, October 18 as they travel to CACC foe Nyack College for a 3:30pm.
