Dominican Chargers End CACC Regular Season Undefeated

Wilmington, DE (10/27/05) The Dominican College men's soccer team ended CACC conference play a perfect 8-0 as they defeated Goldey Beacom College, 4-1 this afternoon.

Senior Kyle Clancy (Walden, NY) led the Chargers with two goals. His first came at 17:29 off the pass by Jhonny Arteaga (Cali, Colombia). Clancy would strike again in the 24th minute of action, this time off the assist by Joe Ruesgan (Scotland), putting the Chargers up 2-0.

DC would add another goal before the half, as fellow senior Slavisa Prcic (Orlando, FL) scored an unassisted goal at 34:54.

In the second half, Ruesgan would finish the Charger scoring run with his own unassisted goal at 54:44, making the score 4-0.

GBC's Matt Adkins scored the lone goal off a reflection on a penalty kick for the final 4-1 score.

Charger keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) had two saves in 64:00 minutes, while Lightning keeper Chris Dinuzzo had 15 saves.
