The loss drops the Tigers to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.

Blauvelt, NY (9/16/06) The Dominican College men's soccer team improved to 3-0 in the CACC and 4-2-1 overall with a 4-0 victory over Holy Family University this afternoon at the Dominican College Soccer Field. The loss drops the Tigers to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.
Joseph Ruesgan (Scotland) got the Chargers on the board at 23:09 when he took a shot, got his own rebound and put it in the net for the 1-0 lead.
Pablo Pozo (Ecuador) extended the lead to 2-0 when he got a pass from junior Ryan Clancy (Pine Bush, NY) and put past the Tiger keeper at 35:26.
Senior Michael Purificati (Pine Bush, NY) netted his first goal of the season off the assist by Diego Miranda (Ecuador) to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead at the half.
Freshman Colin Van Rye (Elmwood Park, NJ) scored his second goal of the season off another assist by Miranda for a 4-0 Dominican lead.
Charger keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) had one save on the day, while Tiger keeper Benjamin Roller (Philadelphia, PA) had seven saves in the loss. DC out shot Holy Family University 22-5.
The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday, September 19th when they travel to the College of St. Rose for a non-conference game scheduled for 2:30 pm.
