Blauvelt, NY (10/18/06)        The Dominican College men's soccer team ended the Central Atlantic College Conference (CACC) regular season with an undefeated 8-0 record after beating Bloomfield College, 4-1 this afternoon at the DC Soccer Field..

Dominican got on the board at 16:28 as junior forward Jhonny Arteaga (Cali, Colombia) scored off the pass by Diego Miranda (Quito, Ecuador). 

CACC Player of the Week, Ryan Clancy (Pine Bush, NY) gave the Chargers a 2-0 lead when he hit the lower right corner of the goal off the dish by Joseph Ruesgan (Campbeltown, Scotland) at 28:42.

DC took a 3-0 lead at 31:13 when freshman Dan Costello (River Vale, NJ) netted a goal in the lower left corner off the pass by Diego Barahona (Quito, Ecuador).

The Chargers took a commanding 4-0 lead when freshman James Hamilton (Refrewshire, Scotland) found the net at 57:35 off the pass by Clancy.

Bloomfield got on the board at 88:29 when sophomore Daniel Hill (Cedar Grove, NJ) hit an open net shot off the pass by Oscar Escobar (Morristown, NJ).

With the win, the Chargers improve to 10-3-2 overall and 8-0 in the CACC, while Bloomfield falls to 1-13-0 overall and 0-6 in the CACC.

The Chargers are back in action on Sunday when they host #1 Dowling College in a non-conference game scheduled for 1:00 pm at the DC Soccer Field.
