Nyack, NY (9/18-07) Dominican College defeated Nyack College in overtime, 3-2 this afternoon in CACC men's soccer action.  Dominican improves to 4-1-4 overall and 2-0-1 in the CACC. Nyack falls to 3-4-1 overall and 0-1 in the CACC.

Nyack struck first in the 20th minute on a corner kick that saw Joel Bicknell (Sandown, NH) head the ball off of the post.  Daniel Wilkinson (Quito, Ecuador) gathered the rebound and passed to Seth Galloway (Peneng, Malaysia) who scored to put Nyack ahead.  Domnican would tie things up in the just before halftime in the 40th minute when Joseph Ruesgen (Campbeltown, Scotland) scored from inside the 18 beating a diving Peter Murphy (Cape Coral, FL) for Nyack.

The game was tied at 1 for the first 20 minutes of the second half until Ryan Clancy (Pine Bush, NY) found Joe Wright (Stratford-Upon-Avon, England) to put Dominican up 2-1.  Nyack answered right back when Tim Conway (Billerica, MA) one timed a pass off of a free kick from Greg Allen (Mayfield, NY) that Galloway redirected toward Conway for the goal.  The teams ended regulation knotted at 2-2.

It only took Dominican an extra 1:26 to end the game when Jhonny Arteaga Stamford, CT) had a breakaway one on one goal where he tapped the ball over Murphy's head
for the game winner.

The Chargers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Felician College in CACC men's soccer action.  Game time is 4pm.
