CHARGERS SOCCER WINS AT BLOOMSBURG UNIVERSITY

Bloomsburg, NY (10/23/07) The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to Dominican College, 1-0, on Tuesday night at Sports Stadium.
The Chargers scored the game's only goal in the 38th minute on a goal by Joe Wright (Stratford-Upon-Avon, England). Dominican had one other good scoring chance, a penalty shot by James Hamilton (Paisley, Scotland) in the 17th minute, but Bloomsburg goalie Jon Keller (Clarks Summit) made the save.
For Bloomsburg, John Brittingham (Stockton, MD) and Justin McClennan (Wyndmoor) each had three shots on goal, but the Chargers' goalie Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ), made seven saves on the night to record the shutout.
The Chargers are back in action on Saturday when they host Chestnut Hill College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer action.
