DOMINICAN SOCCER RANKED REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY

Orangeburg, NY (10/14/08) The Dominican College men's soccer team moved up to third regionally and returned to the nationally rankings after being ranked 22nd in the NSCAA/Adidas East Regional and National Polls which were released today.

Orangeburg, NY (10/14/08)  The Dominican College men's soccer team moved up to third regionally and returned to the nationally rankings after being ranked 22nd in the NSCAA/Adidas East Regional and National Polls which were released today.

Last week the Chargers were ranked fourth in the East Region.  After posting a 1-0-1 record last week, the team defeated Post University, 5-2 and tied with Philadelphia University 2-2, the Chargers now stand at 9-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

This marks the third appearance for the Chargers in the National Rankings.  DC had been previously ranked as high as fifth in the nation and 23rd.
