Saginaw Valley State University Rallies to Defeat Dominican Lady Chargers, 4-3

Ft. Myer's Fla (3/9/06) Saginaw Valley State University rallied to score four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Dominican College Lady Charger softball team, 4-3, this afternoon in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic.

Senior Kim Cornacchio (Poughkeepsie, NY) had an RBI single in the top of the seventh inning to put Dominican up 3-0. However, it wouldn't be enough as SVSU rallied in the bottom of the seventh to win, 4-3.

Sophomore Christine Stathes suffered the loss, making her record 2-1 on the year.
