Beck and Krupna Earn Softball Weekly Honors
New Haven, CT - Sarah Beck of Dominican College has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 26. Michelle Krupna of Dominican is the Pitcher of the Week and Ashley Frange of Bloomfield College has been selected as the Rookie of the Week.

New Haven, CT - Sarah Beck of Dominican
College has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday,
March 26. Michelle Krupna of Dominican is the
Pitcher of the Week and Ashley Frange of Bloomfield College has
been selected as the Rookie of the Week.
Beck, a freshman catcher, hit .455 (10-22) for the week with two home runs, five doubles, nine RBI and 10 runs scored. Beck, who hails from Milton, NY, went 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles against Molloy and hit two home runs in a double-header versus Queens.
Krupna, a junior from Sparta, NJ, went 3-0
last week with a 1.11 ERA. In 19 innings of work, she allowed just
eight hits, three earned runs and struck out 27, including 15 in a
complete game victory over Bloomfield. In addition, she fanned nine
batters against Queens.
Frange had an oustanding week for the Deacons. The freshman CF from Staten Island belted four home runs, drove in six runs, scored six times and recorded a 1.111 slugging percentage and a .389 batting average. She smacked two homers and went 3-for-4 with four RBI in a 5-0 win over Dominican.
