Dominican Defeats Molloy, 3-2
Blauvelt, NY(09/22/05) The Dominican College womens volleyball team improved their record to 3-4 overall with a 3-2 win over the Molloy College Lions this evening at the Hennesy Center in Blauvelt, NY.
Freshman Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led all attackers with 18 kills for the Lady Chargers. Senior setter Megan Earl (Greenville, NY) had 51 sets. Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) added 14 kills and sophomore Tara Leahy (Highland Falls, NY) contributed 12 kills, respectively.
For the Lions, sophomore Diann Drury (Bellmore, NY) led the team with 17 kills, while Karen Quiambao (East Meadow, NY) had 33 assists.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday, September 24 when they host New Jersey Institute of Technology and Holy Family University for a CACC tri-match, beginning at noon.
