Philadelphia University Turns Back Dominican, 3-1

Philadelphia, PA (11/2/05) The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team (27-4, 20-0 CACC) defeated the Dominican College Lady Chargers (7-17, 6-14 CACC), 3-1 this evening.

Dominican had the edge early, winning the first game 30-28, but dropped the next three games, 13-30, 24-30, 18-30.

The Lady Chargers were led by freshman Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) who had 11 kills, while Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY) added seven kills. Senior setter Megan Earl (Greenville, NY) had 30 assists.

The Lady Rams were led by Emily Krauss with 17 kills.

The Lady Chargers will wrap up the season on Saturday, November 5 when they travel to Bloomfield College for a CACC tri-match.
