DOMINICAN COLLEGE KNOCKS OFF NYACK

Nyack, NY (10/16/07) Dominican College defeated Nyack College this evening three games to one in CACC women's volleyball action. TheWarriors fall to 7-11 overall and 6-5 in the CACC while the Chargers improve to 4-11 overall and 4-8 in the conference.

Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY) led the Chargers with 14 kills and also added 12 digs. Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) chipped in with 10 kills and 12 digs of her own while Antoinette Hackett (Pearl River, NY) led all players with 32 digs.

For Nyack, Wendy Paige (Harriman, NY) had a match high 15 kills and another match high with 7 aces. Tara Leegwater (Ridgewood, NJ) led all players with 40 assists.

Dominican is back in action on Thursday when they host Post University.  Game time is 7pm.
