VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO UNIVERSITY OF THE SCIENCES IN PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia, PA (10/4/08) The Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, 3-0 (18-25, 17-25, 16-25) this afternoon.
Senior Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led the Lady Chargers with eight kills and 13 digs. Sophomores Kerianne Dudley (Nanuet, NY) and Akirrah Cooper (Bronx, NY) each had five kills a piece in the loss. Setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) had 18 assists in the loss.
Andrea Cardine led the Devils with nine kills. Kristen Lechner added eight kills, while Sarah Hickman led the way with 27 assists.
With the win the Devils improve to 5-9 overall and 4-2 in the CACC, while the Lady Chargers fall to 0-16 overall and 0-6 in the CACC.
Dominican is back in action next Thursday when they host Bloomfield College in a CACC match on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. Game time is 7pm.
