Orangeburg, NY (10/21/08)  The visiting Dominican College women's volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match, 3-0 (18-25, 18-25, 22-25) this evening to host Bloomfield College.

Senior outside hitter Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY) and sophomore Akirrah Cooper (Bronx, NY) led the Lady Chargers with five kills a piece in the loss.  Senior Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) added four kills and nine digs, while setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) led the team with 13 assists.  Catherine Giordano (Stony Point, NY) led the team with 10 digs.

With the loss Dominican falls to 0-21 overall and 0-11 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Nyack College in CACC women's volleyball action.  Game time is 7pm in Bowmen Gymnasium.
