Orangeburg, NY (10/23/08)  The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to Nyack College, 3-0 (13-25, 9-25, 14-25) this evening at Bowman Gymnasium.

Senior outside hitter Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led the Lady Chargers with 8 kills.  Senior setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) had 10 assists, while Catherine Giordano (Stony Point, NY) and Akirrah Cooper (Bronx, NY) added eight digs a piece in the loss.

Nyack was led by Laurie Stuart (Trujillo, Peru) with 8 kills and Samantha Friday (Pittsburgh, PA) with a match-high 20 assists, while only committing 8 errors as a team. 

With the loss Dominican falls to 0-22 overall and 0-12 in the CACC, while Nyack improves to 6-18 overall and 5-6 in the CACC.

Dominican is back in action this Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia University in CACC women's volleyball action.
