Dominican Colllege Lady Chargers Defeat Felician College Golden Falcons, 70-60

Rutherford, NJ (2/18/06) The Dominican College Lady Chargers defeated the Felician College Lady Golden Falcons, 70-60 this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's basketball action.

The Lady Chargers were led by freshman forward Shalissa Burgess (Englewood, NJ) with 16 points and nine rebounds. Junior Beth Depalo (Rumson, NJ) had 10 points in the win. Althea Chambers (Yonkers, NY) added eight points and five rebounds off the bench.

Felician was led by Cherita Gray with 15 points. Diane Burns and Danielle Norman each chipped in 13 points, while Norman added eight rebounds.

With the win, DC improves to 16-11 overall and 14-8 in the CACC, while Felcian falls to 7-18 overall and 6-16 in the CACC.

Dominican is back in action on Tuesday, February 21st when they host Goldey Beacom College. Tip-off is at 6pm at the Hennessy Center
