Dominican's Tracey and Rossi Named To All-Met DIV. II Women's Team
White Plain, N.Y. (4/12/06) -- Carlyshia Hurdle of Adelphi was named All-Met Division II women?s college basketball player of the year Wednesday by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association.

Dominican's Tracey and Rossi Named To ALL-MET DIV. II WOMEN'S TEAM
White Plains, N.Y. (April 12, 2006) -- Carlyshia Hurdle of Adelphi was named All-Met Division II women's college basketball player of the year Wednesday by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association.
Carrie Seymour of Pace was selected coach of the year.
Joining Hurdle on the All-Met first team: Mary LePore,
Adelphi; Kelly McManus, St. Thomas Aquinas; Jackie Tracey,
Dominican; Pam Karagiorgis, Concordia; Kelly Crowe, NJIT.
Tracey served as the main ball-handler for the Chargers and was a third team All-CACC selection. She finished the season with an average of 11.0 points per-game and led the CACC with 5.09 assists per-game. In addition, she stood seventh in the league with 2.09 steals per-game.
The All-Met second team comprised: Krissy Porter, NYIT;
Donna Lohrey, Molloy; Erin White, Queens; Danielle Norman,
Felician; Jesse Diabola and Ashley Wallace, Pace; Ashley
Rossi, Dominican.
Rossi ranked fifth in the conference with a 51.6 field-goal percentage and she was third with 1.62 blocks per-contest. Rossi ranked fourth on her team with 10.0 ppg for the season and started 30 of her team's 32 games
Hurdle averaged 15.6 ppg and 8.1 ppg, and finished her career No. 2 all-time on the Lady Panthers scoring and rebounding list.
Seymour guided the Setters to an NCAA tournament berth and 21-8 overall record.
