Lady Chargers Turn Back Goldey-Beacom College, 83-72
Blauvelt, NY (1/20/07) The Dominican College Lady Chargers got revenge from early season loss to visiting Goldey-Beacom College by beating them 83-72 this afternoon on Coach Baxter Court on DC Camper Day. With the win, Dominican improves to 10-6 overall and 6-5 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), while the Lightning fall to 9-7 overall and 5-6 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers cruised into halftime with a 45-29 lead on a
three point buzzer beater by junior Kristen Tracey (Bronx,
NY). Dominican shot 59% in the first half to
Goldey-Beacom’s 47.8%.
Kim Rowley led the Lightning with a double-double
of 18 points and 19 rebounds. Cherrise
Graham netted 16 points, four assists and four steals in
the loss.
Freshman Adele Laskowski (Wayne, NJ) led the Lady
Chargers with 21 points. Junior Dana Rotio
(Garfield, NJ) and Jackie Tracey-Spitaleri (Bronx, NY)
each had 15 points, while Tracey-Spitaleri had a
season high 12 assists and four steals.
Tracey finished with 12 points, six rebounds and
four steals. Sophomore Shalissa Burgess
(Englewood, NJ) scored 11 points in the win.
The Lady Chargers will travel to Post University this Monday in
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action. Game
time is slated for 6pm.
