LADY CHARGERS BASKETBALL RANKED SEVENTH IN REGION
Blauvelt, NY (2/20/08) The Dominican College women's basketball team moved up two spots in the latest Northeast Regional Rankings as was announced by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee this afternoon.
Blauvelt, NY (2/20/08) The Dominican College women's basketball team moved up two spots in the latest Northeast Regional Rankings as was announced by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee this afternoon.
Dominican moved up from the number nine spot to take hold of the
seventh spot in the Northeast Region. The Lady Chargers are
currently 18-7 overall and 12-3 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference (CACC) after losing to the top team and seventh in the
country Holy Family University, 45-50 and defeating Felician
College, 39-34 last night.
DC will take on Goldey-Beacom College this Saturday and will host the final CACC regular season game against Post University on 2/27 at the Hennessy Center.
The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 5th. The top ten teams in each region are released in the regional rankings. Fellow CACC member, Holy Family University, holds the top spot in the Northeast Region and Wilmington University returns to the rankings in the tenth spot.
