ROTIO, LASKOWSKI NAMED TO ALL-CACC TEAM
Blauvelt, NY (2/27/08) Dominican College women's basketball players, Dana Rotio and Adele Laskowski, have been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team as was released by the conference office today. Althea Chambers received Honorable Mention honors.

Junior Althea Chambers Receives Honorable Mention Honors
Blauvelt, NY (2/27/08) Dominican College women's basketball players, Dana Rotio and Adele Laskowski, have been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team as was released by the conference office today. Althea Chambers received Honorable Mention honors.
Rotio, a senior guard from Garfield, NJ, is one of this
year's captains. She has started all 26 games this year and
is averaging 11.2 points per game and is shooting 73.6% from the
charity stripe this season. She is leading the team and ranked
fifth in the CACC with 90 assists and has a CACC leading 86 steals
on the season. Rotio was the 20th player to reach
the 1,000th point mark, scoring her 1,000th point against the
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia on 12/21/07. To date,
she has scored 1,207 to place her ninth on the DC Lady Chargers
All-Time Scoring list, 347 assists to place her in the Lady Charger
All-Time top ten and 300 steals to place her fifth on the All-Time
Steals list.
Laskowski, a sophomore forward from Wayne, NJ, has been a
starter for the past two seasons. She is leading the team
averaging 12.3 ppg and is second on the team with 68 assists.
Laskowski leads the team averaging 32.5 minutes
per game and is shooting 72.7% from the free throw line. She
is ranked 14th in the CACC in scoring and received All-CACC
Honorable Mention Honors last season.
Chambers, a junior from Yonkers, NY, has been a Lady
Charger captain for the last two seasons. She is second on
the team in scoring, averaging 11.8 ppg and leads DC with 6.7
rebounds per game. She is in the top twenty in scoring and
rebounding in the CACC.
