Blauvelt, NY (2/13/08) The Dominican College women's basketball team slipped three spots in the latest Northeast Regional Rankings as was announced by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee this afternoon.

Blauvelt, NY (2/13/08) The Dominican College women's
basketball team slipped three spots in the latest Northeast
Regional Rankings as was announced by the NCAA Division II Women's
Basketball Committee this afternoon.
Dominican was ranked sixth in last week's poll but fell to the ninth spot this week. Dominican went 1-3 last week, dropping games to Nyack College, 57-59, American International College, who received the eighth spot this week, 37-54 and defeated Post University, 91-63.
The Lady Chargers will square off against the current #1 in the Northeast Region and #7 in the country, Holy Family University on Coach Baxter Court on Saturday, September 16th when DC will celebrate "Think Pink Day".
The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 5th. The top ten teams in each region are released in the regional rankings. Fellow CACC member, Holy Family University, holds the top spot in the Northeast Region.
