DOWLING GOLDEN LIONS DEFEAT LADY CHARGERS LACROSSE

Golden Lions defeated the visiting Lady Chargers of Dominican
College, 20-3 this afternoon at Golden Lions Field.
Lauren Marra, Vanessa Moreira, Kelly Cefalu and Melanie Burgos all Dowling with three goals each in the victory. Four other Golden Lions netted two goals each for the total of 20 goals.
Silje Karlsen (Vernon, NJ), Althea Chambers (Yonkers, NY) and Amanda Matos (Vernon, NJ) had the Lady Chargers goals.
Goalie Lindsey Grundfast (Saugerties, NY) had 11 saves for the Lady Chargers.
With the loss, Dominican falls to 1-7 overall.
Dominican is back in action on Wednesday when they host
Wilmington University at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
Game time is 3pm.
