Millersville, PA (9/3/05)The New Haven trio of Crystal Lindsay, Mary Waldron and Tanya Breton accounted for 13 combined points (five goals and three assists), to pace the undefeated Chargers (3-0) to a 6-0 win over Dominican (0-3) in the Millersville Womens Soccer Kickoff Classic Saturday afternoon.
Lindsay, who scored the game-winner with six seconds to play in Friday nights 1-0 win over Millersville, continued where she left off with a 10-yard shot down the middle in the 18th minute to stake UNH to a 1-0 lead. She added a goal midway through the second half and collected an assist on the Chargers final goal with 2:57 remaining.
Waldron scored first half goals 1:41 apart that extended New Havens lead to 3-0, and Breton recorded a goal and two assists after intermission. Maureen McConnell recorded two saves in goal for UNH.
New Haven were in command throughout, with sizable edges in shots (20-3) and corner kicks (4-0).
